Face it, sometimes you’re just not motivated to go to the gym. A meeting runs late, you’re tempted by cocktails with coworkers and pressing that snooze button on a 5 a.m. wakeup workout is far too easy.

Not anymore. Welcome Pavlok, a fitness tracking device similar to ones on the market today, except this gadget will provide consequences if you skip that sweat sesh. Yes, you read that correctly: consequences.

From posting your lack of healthy habits to Facebook for all your friends to see and even giving you a small electrical shock, Pavlok is the first of its kind to hold you accountable for your, ahem, lazy behavior. Founder Maneesh Sethi is paving the way with this innovative idea on workout accountability.

As the video states, you don’t go missing several days of work in a row due to the fact you may get fired. However, no one cares if you continuously avoid the gym. Maneesh’s wants to change this. Aside from being scolded for not exercising, this healthy tool will reward you for staying on track as well.

Their site states, “Choose your level of commitment. Pavlok can reward you when you achieve your goals. Earn prizes and even money when you complete your daily task. But be warned: if you fail, you’ll face penalties. Pay a fine, lose access to your phone, or even suffer an electric shock … at the hands of your friends.”

So what do you say, are you ready to commit to fitness? Pavlok will be available in 2015.
