We can whine and complain about Boston’s lack of late night options all we want – but at least our city seems to be moving in the right direction. With the MBTA’s extended hours and even, later serving hours for food trucks, our nightlife is slowly but surely improving.

And fortunately for hungry Bostonians, there are plenty of kitchens still serving food until Midnight and beyond. However, one of these Boston restaurants isn’t just your typical late-night spot – it’s also an “amazing place to eat after 11 p.m.,” according to Food & Wine.

The magazine’s website recently compiled a list of 5 amazing late night restaurants and Brookline’s own Fairsted Kitchen made the cut.

Fairsted Kitchen’s rotating late night menu changes monthly. This upcoming August, the restaurant’s late night offerings “will feature Vietnamese-inspired dishes,” according to Food & Wine. An official source informed BostInno earlier that the late night menu typically features “five dishes – four savory and one sweet”. Fairsted Kitchen’s previous late night menu themes have included Southern-style fare, Southeast Asian street food, and even a sandwich shop concept – among others.

Check out the other four amazing places to eat after 11 p.m., here and start planning your Boston nightlife around this tasty menu in Washington Square.
