This week it seems that Boston-area chefs are making TV appearances left and right. It’s no secret that the Hub is home to some of the best, most well-known chefs and restaurants in America. And now, the rest of the country will get a taste of Boston’s burgeoning restaurant scene.

First, it looks as though two Boston chefs will star on Bravo’s upcoming series, “Top Chef Duels.” According to a release, the show is set to premiere on Wednesday, August 6 at 10 p.m. and will feature chefs Kristin Kish (formerly of Menton) and Tiffani Faison (Sweet Cheeks).

The Bravo show will be the “first new addition to the Emmy-winning culinary franchise in 5 years” and will feature 18 former “TopChef” competitors as they battle it out in “culinary duels,” notes the release.

In other TV news – it looks like chef and restaurateur, Brian Poe’s Estelle’s restaurant will also be making an appearance on the tube. Host G. Garvin will join Chef Poe in the kitchen to “whip up items like chicken fried steak, cheesy scrambled eggs and chocolate peanut butter and banana pie,” on The Cooking Channel show‘s “Road Trip with G. Garvin,” notes an official source. The show premieres tonight, August 5 at 10 p.m.

And finally, the Food Network’sBeat Bobby Flay” show will feature blue-haired Boston chef Jason Santos of Blue, Inc., Back Bay Harry’s, and Abby Land Food & Spirits. According to an official source, Chef Santos will be competing against former Iron Chef America winner Neal Fraser from Los Angeles. The show will air this Thursday, August 7 at 10 p.m.
