Get ready to sharpen your knives, folks! Fox-TV’s hit show, “Hell’s Kitchen” is holding an open casting call today in Boston. An official source tells us that the casting call is being held today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Le Cordon Bleu.

A release notes that in addition to casting directors from the hit TV show, Hell’s Kitchen season 9 finalist and Boston chef and restaurateur, Jason Santos will also be present at the casting call.

But if you go, you should also expect to see hundreds of local chef-testants, all vying for a spot on Gordon Ramsey’s  “Hell’s Kitchen” show. For those unfamiliar with the Fox-TV show, “Hell’s Kitchen” features aspiring chefs from all over the country as they battle it out to become the winning chef. Each episode features a different challenge and ends with one chef being eliminated from the show.

As mentioned above, Boston’s own Chef Jason Santos starred on the primetime show, becoming “Hell’s Kitchen” season 9 finalist. Other notable Boston chefs who have competed on the show include Chef Benjamin Knack (formerly of Sel de la Terre but no longer in Boston) and Chef Andy Husbands (Tremont 647).

For those looking to try out for the show today, head to Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts at 215 First St. in Cambridge. More information on the application process can be found here.
