August may mark the tail-end of summer but thankfully, we’ve got another month or two of decently warm weather. And with it, we recommend taking advantage of every outdoor opportunity while you still can. Besides patio drinking and outdoor movie nights, this also means joining one of Boston’s many restaurant-hopping tasting tours.

And if you’re a fan of Harvard Square’s many restaurants, then you’re not going to want to miss the Grafton Group’s Harvard Square Tasting Tour this summer and fall.

Starting August 23, the Grafton Group and Harvardtour.com are teaming up to create a tasty restaurant tour through Harvard Square, according to a release. Attendees will be able to sample signature dishes from three Harvard Square restaurants – Grafton Street, Russell House Tavern and PARK – all in one afternoon.

The tours will be led from 3 to 5 p.m. on August 23, September 27 and October 25.

If you have a friend or parents in town, we recommend showing them Cambridge’s Harvard Square through the eyes of the Harvardtour.com’s tour guides. In addition to food and drink pairings, and tastings, the tour will also include facts and trivia about the Square.

A release notes that tourists will “learn about the chess players on Au Bon Pain’s famed open patio, Grafton Street’s unlikely movie debut, why you may not want to touch the John Harvard statue, and what it takes to get a cocktail named after you at PARK.”

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased here.
