Seth MacFarlane has brought the ‘Ted’ gang back to Boston for the movie’s sequel, following up on the story about a guy (Mark Wahlberg) and his talking, R-rated bear, voiced by MacFarlane. In ‘Ted 2,’ Amanda Seyfried has taken the place of Mila Kunis as the female lead.

The cast and crew has been spotted filming around town in the Boston Public Garden, the South End, the Financial District and more over the past few weeks, providing ample opportunitiy to spot the Boston native in action, as Wahlberg works on set with the stuffed teddy bear in place for the soon to be animated Ted.

We got the chance to check out the movie’s set as they filmed a court-entrance scene on the steps of the Custom House in the Financial District. Before leaving to change for the next scene, Wahlberg took the chance to wave to fans that had gathered around the filming area, and paused to take a picture with one nearby woman who was holding up a sign.
