There’s no denying that Boston is home to a wide variety of food trucks. From grilled cheeses and frozen hoagies to Greek gyros and wood-fired pizzas, it seems like Boston has every kind of mobile eats you could ever want. Except a Cambodian egg roll food truck, of course.

That is – until now. Eater Boston reported today that Yumm Bai, a Cambodian, egg roll-serving food truck, could be hitting the streets of Boston soon. The food truck is “run by a mother-and-daughter team,” reports Eater Boston.

Yumm Bai’s Twitter handle tweeted that the food truck would be launching this August, notes Eater Boston.

According to its menu, the Yumm Bai food truck will be serving dishes like prawn chips, lo mein with bbq pork, vegetable, or shrimp, and several different kinds of egg rolls. Diners can expect pork egg rolls, veggie egg rolls and shrimp egg rolls – as well as beef and chicken skewers. Yum.

On the Yumm Bai website, the food truck states:

“Yumm Bai is the phonetic spelling for the Cambodian words “eat rice” or more colloquially, “eat”. It is their hope that all those who dine at their truck will come away with a feeling of satisfaction after they Yumm Bai with them.”

We recommend tracking Yumm Bai on Twitter to find out when and where the food truck will launch this month.
