Boston-based wine discovery app Drync announced today that they are teaming up with Google Wallet to offer customers an easier mobile commerce experience. Drync will be the “first and only mobile wine app for Android users to instantly purchase wine with Google Wallet and have it delivered to their doorstep,” according to the release.

Founded in 2008, the wine discovery and e-commerce app, Drync, is able to identify millions of different wine labels within seconds. It also allows customers to learn about the wine, read reviews and purchase for home delivery – making the wine selection and buying process as seamless as possible.

Over the years, the popular Boston-based app has become a leader in creating mobile social networks for wine enthusiasts. Now that Drync has teamed up with Google Wallet, customers can “automatically sign in with their Google account and purchase from a catalog of 30,000 wines,” notes the release.

Brad Rosen, Drync’s CEO stated in the release that “the single most significant barrier to buying on mobile is the checkout experience… Google Wallet creates a frictionless commerce experience, giving Drync Android users an even easier way find and buy their wine in 30 seconds or less.”

As part of this Google Wallet launch, Drync is also offering customers an additional 15 percent off through the end of August when they use the promo code LUVANDROID. The Drync app for Android with Google Wallet is available now in the Google Play store.
