It’s no secret that Boston found itself amidst plenty of Top Chef celebrity sightings and filmings this past spring. For those of you who missed the memo, the hit Bravo TV show filmed its 12th season earlier this year in the Hub. The highly anticipated show is expected to premiere this fall on October 15.

But while Top Chef Boston was busy filming, Bravo kept quiet about many of the show’s details. Until now.

The Boston Globe reported this morning that the Bravo TV show revealed its “cheftestants” – and other details – today. And, one of Boston’s own chefs will be on Top Chef Boston this fall. Stacy Cogswell, executive chef at Coolidge Corner’s Regal Beagle restaurant will be one of the “cheftestants” on the TV show, according to the Boston Globe.

Prior to working at Regal Beagle, the Johnson & Wales graduate was also Chef de Cuisine at Upstairs on the Square, notes BostonChefs.com. The Boston-based chef is apparently “not allowed to reveal how far she made it on the show,” reports the Boston Globe. So it looks as though we’ll have to wait and see in the fall.

Other details about the Top Chef Boston show reveal that there will be several famous folks making an appearance, including Emmy Rossum, Rob Gronkowski, Dennis Eckersley, Jacques Peping, George Wendt, and Andy Cohen. The Boston Globe also notes that plenty of Boston’s local celebrity chefs will also appear on Top Chef Boston including Todd English, Barbara Lynch, Jasper White, Ming Tsai, Ken Oringer, and Jamie Bissonette.
