We’ve all noticed that the temperature has dropped this week, but don’t let those highs-in-the-70s deter you from going all out this weekend. After all, September is right around the corner, and the pumpkin spice latte has already hit Starbucks in America. Fall is coming. Soak up the last of summer!

Friday

South End Sidewalk Sale – August 22-24 – South End – Join the South End Business Alliance and Washington Gateway Main Streets for a sidewalk sale incorporating 20 small businesses in the South End who will be providing promotions and deals on jewelry, clothing, gifts, frames and more.

Bring Your Own Beamer: Projector Party – 7 p.m. – Aeronaut Brewing – Aeronaut Brewing invites artists and creators to bring their visual work to the new brewery in Somerville for a viewing party. Bring your own projector and share your visuals, and for viewers, there will be music, food and beer available at the event.

Open Tap Series: Ales for ALS – 7:30 p.m. – Sam Adams Brewery – Join Sam Adams for the final Ales for ALS night, part of their Open Tap Series. The event gets you one free specialty beer, which this time is Stock Pot Malden, plus samples and food. The proceeds of the event will be donated to the ALS Association. Tickets are $20.

Art + Science of Beer: An Educational Tasting – 7:30 to 9 p.m. – Harpoon Brewery – Drink craft beer while you learn how craft beer is made from both beer artists and scientists, and get a view of the brew deck as well. Tickets are $20.

“Good Will Hunting” Screening with Fort Point Stage – 8 p.m. – The Park at Channel Center – All summer, Fort Point Stage has been hosting impromptu movie nights in the park, and for the month of August, they elected to screen, appropriately, “Good Will Hunting.” The event is free to attend.

Saturday

Tico’s Summer Patio Party: Ribs and ‘Ritas BBQ – 1 to 4 p.m. – Tico – The time for patio parties is running out, and Tico is hosting one this Saturday with all you can eat ribs, with three different kinds as well as sauces, and margaritas from Tequila Fortaleza. Tickets are $35 per person and get you food and drink.

Super Tuscans Under $15 – 1 to 5 p.m. – Wine ConneXtion – Learn about affordable Tuscan wines and sip samples for free at the Wine ConneXtion. This is the winery’s second to last free wine tasting of the summer.

Beach Soccer Blast: Charity Beach Tournament – 1 to 6 p.m. – Carson Beach – America Scores Boston and Save The Harbor/Save The Bay are bringing a day of soccer to the Boston waterfront. There will be two games, competitive and recreational, and teams of up to 12 are invited to register at $550 per team. Individuals can register for $55. The money raised will go toward youth development programs for each organization. A free reception for players will follow, suggested donations will be asked of guests.

Harvard Square Tasting Tour – 3 to 5 p.m. – Harvard Square Restaurants – The Grafton Group and Harvardtour.com have combined history and delicious food for one tour. The team at Harvardtour.com will lead guests on a boisterous tour through the Square, with stops at Grafton Street, PARK and Russell House Tavern. Tickets are $40 per person.

Sunday

Race to the Row 5K – 9:30 a.m. – Assembly Row – Register for this Sunday’s Race to the Row 5K, a walking or running race through Assembly Square that ends at the newly developed Assembly Row. Awards and raffles will be handed out and the race will be followed by a party with food, drinks and music. Day-of registration will open at 8 a.m.

Boston Urban Music Festival – 2 to 9 p.m. – City Hall Plaza – Boston’s leading hip hop, rap, funk, soul and R&B artists will take over City Hall Plaza this Sunday for an afternoon of performances. In addition to the music, the festival aims to shed light on the city’s non-profit organizations that raise awareness for the need of quality music programs for students and adults. The festival is free to attend.

Put the Lime in the Coconut – 3 to 6 p.m. – The Sinclair – Head to The Sinclair in Harvard Square for the restaurant’s last patio party of the season. This time around, they’ll be serving Caribbean, South East and Hawaiian food and drink. Dinner reservations are $50 per person.
