The bridge from brick and mortar to e-commerce is something that boutiques have been tackling in recent years in order to maximize their shopping experience, and Wellesley boutique Gretta Luxe is the most recent local shop to make the jump. Rather than build out their own online store from scratch, however, the luxury boutique partnered with global e-commerce platform Farfetch in order to bring their high-end selection to the web.

Gretta Luxe’s recently curated fall collection, totaling 76 items, can be found in a clean and easy-to-navigate segment of the Farfetch platform. Within the newly launched online store, Gretta Luxe’s collection boasts investment pieces like Proenza and Chloé totes, Michael Kors pullovers and Barbara Bui booties. These buys will likely cost upwards of a months’ rent, but if you can swing it, the boutique is a go-to for luxury finds reflecting the latest season’s trends. The store will be updated frequently to reflect new inventory, so check back often, even if it’s only to online-window shop.

Elsewhere on Farfetch, which houses nearly 300 boutique collections from all over the world, with shops searchable in Europe, North America, South America and other parts of the globe. Therefore, this partnership between Gretta Luxe and Farfetch puts the Wellesley boutique, owned by namesake Gretta Monahan, in front of a worldwide audience. Farfetch also provides global shipping for a fully accessible shopping experience, meaning you can browse boutiques in Paris, LA and Venezia. Collections can be sorted by what’s new, items, designers and boutiques, and there’s also a Sale section (which I recommend checking out first, but that’s just me). Both men’s and women’s collections provide a full selection of luxury items by top designers.
