On Monday night, all-American design house Ralph Lauren launched its first-ever Polo Ralph Lauren womenswear collection at Central Park’s Cherry Hill. And this was no typical runway. Instead, holographic models were projected on a 60-foot-tall, 150-foot-wide screen of water for a 4D fashion show. Yes, a wall of H2O (the fourth dimension).

The presentation paid true homage to New York and featured prefilmed models in front of dreamy cityscapes like the Brooklyn Bridge and the High Line. Each high-definition scene transitioned seamlessly into the next, offering a fusion of technology, art, and, of course, fashion.

The front row was packed with A-listers like Vogue’s editor in chief Anna Wintour, as well as models Karolina Kurkova and Karlie Kloss (no strangers to NYFW). Model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner even dubbed the event worthy of her Instagram. Can you blame her?
