Popular Fort Point restaurant, Row 34, is still relatively new to the Boston restaurant scene – but it’s already expanding beyond Massachusetts’ borders. The neighborhood oyster bar is taking its tasty fare up north to Portsmouth, NH, reports Eater Boston.

The same team behind Island Creek Oyster Bar (Garrett Harker, Skip Bennett, Jeremy Sewall, and Shore Gregory) opened the restaurant and raw bar last November to much fanfare. The restaurant quickly became a favorite with locals and tourists, alike.

Described as “The Bar Every Man Longs For” by GQ, the eatery made the magazine’s 2014 list of 25 Best Restaurants in America this year. Row 34 was also included in USA Today’s (rather ironic) article outlining a “Boston Weekend for Hipsters.”

It seems the rest of the country wants a taste of Row 34’s fare – and we can’t blame them. Eater Boston reports (per a release) that the new Row 34 location will open next summer at Portwalk Place in Portsmouth, NH.

If you still haven’t paid a visit to Fort Point’s Row 34, we recommend adding it to your must-visit restaurant list this fall.
