Bridj is set to launch its much-anticipated South Boston pop-up bus route Monday morning, September 15.

Service from Southie to Longwood is scheduled to begin at 6:15 a.m., with first pickups made at 104 Dorchester St in South Boston. Longwood will be the fourth and final stop at the end of the line. Additional stops will be made at 200 Seaport Blvd or 368 Congress St., and 100 Pearl St. or 64 Tremont St.

The Southie-to-Longwood route will be the fourth beta option provided by the company. Founded by CEO Matthew George, 24, Bridj debuted June 2.

Bridj service is driven by user demand; routes are added and dropped over time by the company based on where users are requesting service to and from. Other routes currently in service include: Coolidge Corner in Brookline to the Seaport; Coolidge Corner to Harvard (“Wicked Smaht” route); and Allston to the Seaport.
