It seems there is such a thing as free lunch, after all. At least if you live and/or work in the Kendall Square or Davis Square neighborhoods.

According to an official source, the Fenway is bringing a taste of its own neighborhood to Kendall Square and Davis Square for 5 consecutive days this week – and it’s free. From noon to 1 p.m. every day this week, the iconic Sausage Guy will be hanging out in Kendall and Davis Square passing out free lunches to patrons.

The point of the free lunch is to remind folks what’s going on across the river. In particular, what’s happening in the Fenway neighborhood – including “232,000 square feet of commercial office space opening in the new Van Ness building in early 2015,” according to an official source.

Here’s where to find the Sausage Guy (and that free lunch) this week in Boston:

Monday 9/22: One Kendall Square

Tuesday 9/23: 101 Main Street

Wednesday 9/24: Corner of Mass Ave. and Sidney St.

Thursday 9/25: Corner of Third St. and Binney St.

Friday 9/26: Davis Square (College Ave. & Highland Ave.)

So, forget that brown-bag lunch. You’ve got a pre-made, no wallet needed lunch waiting for you today through Friday. Get to it!
