No surprise here – Brookline, the third “snobbiest” town in the country, also happens to be the best place for the rich and single, according to Money magazine.

And considering that one in five Brookline households earns up to $200,000 a year (wowwy) and 44 percent of the town is single and ready to mingle, we won’t argue with this Money magazine article, reported by CBS.com today.

It also doesn’t hurt that Brookline residents are plenty smart and one of the “most well-educated communities with more than half of residents holding a master’s or professional degree,” reports CBS.com. In particular, the article claims that Coolidge Corner is a “hot spot for singles.”

As someone who used to live in Coolidge Corner, I can attest that there are plenty of young people living in the neighborhood. And with a plethora of restaurant options, frozen yogurt spots and activities, there’s no shortage of things to do – or date spots to explore.

So, whether you’re looking for a rich and single better half or you’re rich and single, yourself – it seems Brookline may be just the place for you. Unless of course, you’re already coupled off – in which case, start packing those bags for Newton per Rent.com.
