Considering Boston’s growing roster of speakeasys, watering holes and swanky bars, it’s no surprise that our town happens to have some of the best bourbon and whiskey bars in the country.

Earlier this year, Somerville’s Saloon landed on Thrillist’s list of best whiskey spots in the U.S. – thanks to their impressive drink list of over 150 different kinds of whiskies. Now it seems yet another whiskey and bourbon-filled bar has also gained national attention.

According to a release, The Bourbon Review has listed Boston’s Citizen Public House as one of “America’s 60 Best Bourbon Bars.” And to celebrate, the magazine has partnered with Four Roses Bourbon for a nationwide “toast” to each of these 60 bourbon bars in the U.S.

The nationwide “toast” will take place today, September 30. All you have to do to “toast” is tag a listed bourbon bar (in our case – Citizen Public House) using the hashtag #60Toast.

Justin Thompson of The Bourbon Review explained the criteria for landing on the coveted list in a statement, below:

“The bar needed to prominently display Bourbon, educate patrons about Bourbon and provide a superior selection. The winning bars also have a reputation for creating both unique and traditional Bourbon cocktails.”

This can certainly be said for Boston’s Citizen Public House. The Fenway-area bar serves up plenty of bourbon and whiskey specials, cocktails and even shots combined with beer and juices.

If you haven’t explored the menu yet, take a look here. And don’t forget to tweet #60Toast.
