LEGOLAND Discovery Center Boston made quite a splash when it first opened earlier this year at the new Somerville development, Assembly Row. Kids and adult Lego-lovers alike threw a frenzy over the Lego attraction, complete with a miniature rendition of Boston built entirely out of, yes, Lego.

While LEGOLAND is quite the experience for fans of the little bricks, there’s one catch: You need a child with you in order to enter the museum, unless it’s an adults-only night, which takes place once a month. For those who find that this rule cramps their love for Lego, rejoice. ‘The Art of the Brick’ exhibit has arrived at the Faneuil Hall Museum in Quincy Market, and it’s a spectacle to see for Lego enthusiasts – and not to mention, the world’s largest display of Lego art.

Created by NYC-based artist Nathan Sawaya, the exhibit features art made entirely out of Lego. From human figures, to animals, to works of famous art re-imagined in Lego, Sawaya’s sculptures use hundreds of bricks in order to come to life. While you can’t play with the Lego in Sawaya’s exhibit, you can marvel over his creations while they’re on display in Quincy Market, which have been featured on outlets like CNN and Conan.

Currently, the exhibit is hosting special previews until its official opening on Wednesday, October 8. The tour is expected to stay in Boston until January 11, 2015, when it will move on to Alaska. Tickets for the Faneuil Hall exhibit can be purchased online in advance, and like the website says, the exibition is “Where kids are welcome, but not required.”
