“I’ll have what she’s having.” Each week, we’ll ask local chefs and bartenders what’s trending right now on their menus. Sit back, relax and order wisely!

When most folks go to a restaurant for the first time, they want to know what to order (and what not to order). So, it’s not surprising that the question most often on diners’ lips happens to be: What’s the most popular thing on the menu? Thankfully, you’ll no longer have to wonder when it comes to eating at Boston Chops. CEO and Owner Brian Piccini has provided us with a look at the South End restaurant’s most popular dish on the menu.

Piccini tells BostInno that the filet is their most popular cut of meat by far. Below is the $39 Filet Mignon with steak frites and seasonal greens. Diners also have the choice between seven different sauces.  Start drooling…

As for the most popular dish at the restaurant’s bar, Piccini claims that diners often gorge on Boston Chops’ $12 loaded poutine twice baked potato, pictured below.
