The popular Allston-based watering hole and trivia-centric bar, Common Ground Bar & Grill, expanded to Arlington, Mass this October. The new Arlington gastropub is the second Common Ground location.

According to a press release, the new location in Arlington will be similar to the original Common Ground but will tailored to its new neighborhood. When discussing Common Ground’s new home, Owner Bob O’Guin stated in a release:

“We’ve got more mature diners, more families in Arlington. While our 90s night is hugely popular in Allston, the events we choose to do in Arlington will be different and the food too will be a bit more grown up. We’re really excited to grow and push Common Ground to the next level with this spot.”

The newly opened restaurant features 20 tables in the main dining room, a 22-seat bar and 8 high-tops. Diners can expect to find an inside area lined with wood plank accents and deep red plush seating. The new Common Ground also features a large private room to host special events including Paint Nite and trivia nights.

The kitchen at Common Ground is helmed by Executive Chef Jaime Suarez – who also serves as Executive Chef at the Allston location. In addition to Common Ground’s existing menu, the new location will include several new dishes.
