The Patriots emphatic win at home on Sunday against the Broncos was a reminder of why being a New England football fan in the Belichick-Brady era has been so enjoyable. Between the clever defense, the special teams dominance (helped by a Belichick-sponsored rule change from months ago), and a resurgent Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots dominated the Broncos in all facets of the game. At the heart of that remains the quarterback, Tom Brady.

In the pre-game, he joked about the weather being “beautiful.” Also, more unselfish spiking:

After Edelman’s punt return, he ran all of the way into the end zone, and had a pleasant bench conversation afterward:

Like everyone else who saw it, Brady was in awe of Gronkowski’s one-handed catch. “How the f*ck did you catch that?”
