It’s starting to feel a lot like Christmas… in Faneuil Hall, anyway. Today, November 6, the Faneuil Hall Christmas Tree made its grand entrance into the tourist-laden site. The massive evergreen tree arrived in a truck, marked with the words “Oversize Load.”

The tree will be part of Faneuil Hall’s Blink!, the annual light and sound extravaganza filled with 350,000 LED twinkling lights and music from the Holiday Pops. The annual holiday tradition returns this year when Mayor Marty Walsh helps light the tree once again on November 22 (a day earlier than last year).

Those who can’t make it, can watch the Faneuil Hall Christmas Tree illumination on TV from 8 to 9 p.m., November 22, on CBS Boston. For more information on the Faneuil Hall Christmas Tree and Blink!, check here.
