This Veterans Day, Boston restaurants are showing their appreciation for those who serve (or have served) our country with plenty of food and drink deals. From free coffee to free lunch, here are the 5 best restaurant deals happening today in honor of Veterans Day.

The Abbey

Free lunch and dinner will be offered today, November 11 at The Abbey in Cambridge to all veterans, according to Facebook. Important to note that The Abbey also has a location in Brookline but it looks as though only their Cambridge location is participating in this Veterans Day special.

David’s Tea

David’s Tea announced via Facebook that their tea shops are serving up “a free tea of the day for all past and present service members” throughout today. For location information, check here.

Friendly’s

If you’re in the mood for some ice cream, head over to a nearby Friendly’s, where all veterans and active military members will be treated to a free breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant chain will be serving up a complimentary All American Burger to vets tonight to show their appreciation.

The Kirkland Tap & Trotter

This Somerville restaurant is offering up free dinner for Veterans. Dinner is served 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will include Chef Tony Maws signature crispy-fried pork ribs, a housemade farro spaghetti pasta and more. Veterans must show their military ID card in order to attain the deal.

The Thinking Cup

Today, November 11, this Boston coffee shop will offer a free cup of brew coffee to all veterans and their spouses. No ID required. To find out more, check their Facebook announcement here.
