With blustery winter storms and colder temps just around the corner, it’s nice to know that Boston has a long list of cozy restaurants with plenty of comfort foods and cocktails. And now, it looks like that list is about to get just a tad longer. Eater Boston reports that a new hot pot restaurant is on the way to Back Bay.

The article cites a Craigslist job posting for an upcoming eatery dubbed ShabuMaru, which is “coming soon to The Westin Copley Place.” The posting states that ShabuMaru will offer “an exciting and unique dining experience.”

Eater Boston also notes that Jack Huang, owner of Basho and Douzo, and founder of Brookline’s Fugakyu restaurant, may be involved in the new venture.

For those unfamiliar with the hot pot concept, we highly recommend checking it out this winter. Similar to fondue, hot pot features a pot filled with simmering, hot broth shared by the table. The communal meal consists of everything from meat to veggies – all cooked in one pot.
