Dust off those skates, folks! The Boston Common Frog Pond is making its glorious winter return this weekend. According to the ice skating rink’s Twitter handle, public skating at the Frog Pond begins this Saturday, November 22.

The website states that admission price is based on a skater’s height. Those 58 inches and over must pay $5 to skate on the rink while those under that height can skate for free. Skating rentals will only cost you $10.

As for the Frog Pond’s hours, skaters can expect the rink to open daily at 10 a.m. On Monday the rink will close at 4 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday the rink closes at 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday the rink closes at 10 p.m. and Sunday the rink closes at 9 p.m.

And – to make good news even better – another one of Boston’s best ice skating rinks will also be returning this weekend. According to a release, Winter on the Wharf at the Boston Harbor Hotel will also return on November 22. The Rotunda Ice Skating Rink will open to the public with complimentary ice skating from the 3 to 5 p.m. this Saturday. All skate rentals are also free.

Check Winter on the Wharf or the Frog Pond for more information on these two ice skating rinks opening this weekend.
