This past weekend, Boston welcomed two of its most popular ice skating rinks back to the Hub. Fortunately, those aren’t the only skating rinks opening in the next few months. Bostonians will soon have a slew of indoor and outdoor rinks to choose from this holiday season. So, dust off those skates and get ready to glide right into winter at these 10 local skating rinks open to the public all winter long.

Boston Common Frog Pond

Boston’s favorite skating rink, the Boston Common Frog Pond, made its return this past Saturday, November 22. The rink opens at 10 a.m. daily. Adult skate rentals are $10. Check here to find the rink’s daily schedule.

The Boston Harbor Hotel

Winter on the Wharf is back! The Boston Harbor Hotel offers their own ice skating rink, conveniently located under the hotel’s outdoor rotunda. But we should warn you that the rink can only hold up to 20 people at a time on the ice. The rink opened this past Saturday, November 22. Adult skate rentals are available for $10. The Charles Hotel

Located in Harvard Square, the historic Charles Hotel offers their own skating rink open to both hotel guests and the public. The rink opens Sunday, December 14. Community Ice Skating at Kendall Square

If you work in the Kendall Square area, head to the Community Ice Skating rink for skating lessons and hot drinks. This outdoor rink offers lessons, skate rentals, private rink rentals and a cafe. According to their latest tweet, the rink hopes to be open by November 29. The ice skating rink will also host their annual Holiday on Ice celebration on December 13. Emmons Horrigan O’Neill Memorial Rink

Charlestown has its own indoor ice skating rink with public skating available November 16 through March 28, 2015. The rink is open to the public every day except Monday. For more information on their hours, check here.

Jack Kirrane Ice Skating Rink at Larz Anderson Park

This Brookline skating rink opens November 28 and remains open through March 8, 2015. If you plan to go, just make sure the rink isn’t being used for a local hockey practice. You can check the rink’s public skating schedule, here.

Kelly Skating Rink

This outdoor Jamaica Plain ice skating rink is scheduled to open sometime mid-December, according to its information page. The ice skating rink will be open Sunday through Friday from noon to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 7:30 p.m.

Murphy Memorial Rink

Looking for somewhere to skate in Southie? Head to this indoor ice skating rink, open from November 26 through March 14, 2015. The South Boston rink is open to the public every day except for Monday. For more information on their hours, check here.

The Skating Club of Boston

This private ice skating rink is open to the public two days each week year-round. According to the website, the skating rink is currently open on Saturday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:40 to 10:30 p.m. to the public. Admission is $8 for adults and skate rentals cost $4. Steriti Memorial Park

If you’re looking for an indoor skating rink to stay warm this winter, then we recommend heading to Steriti Memorial Park. This North End rink is open November 26 through March 8, 2015 and offers public skating available daily. Hours vary but check here for more information.
