Hopefully everyone made it through their commute on this freezing cold Monday morning – maybe those snowflakes got you in the holiday spirit? If not, then there are plenty of upcoming events designed to do just that. From a Seaport Tree Lighting to holiday crafts, these season-appropriate happenings will get you through to Friday.

Monday

Undiscovered Gems of Italy Wine Dinner – 6 to 9 p.m. – Legal Oysteria – The Charlestown Legal property, Legal Oysteria, is hosting its first wine dinner tonight, hosted by Wine Master Sandy Block. Reservations are $75 per person.

Grand Tidings – 7 to 10 p.m. – Stoddard’s – The second annual Grand Tidings celebration from Stoddard’s and period-instrument ensemble Grand Harmonie takes place tonight, bringing together vintage music and craft cocktails. There will also be a Christmas Carol sing-along, a Best Mustache contest and more. Attire is 19th century cocktail. Tickets are $15.

Tuesday

Seaport Holiday Tree Lighting – 5 to 6 p.m. – South Boston Maritime Park – For the first time, the Seaport will be lighting up its very own, 17-foot holiday tree. There will be music, cookies, hot chocolate, cider and a “very special guest” at the event, and guests are invited to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots.

Hustle on the Harbor – 5:30 to 11 p.m. – KO Catering & Pies – KO Pies and HustleCat have teamed up for a holiday pop up in the KO Pies heated outdoor space. There will be hot mulled cider, food, music, ugly sweaters and more. Tickets are $20 and reserve a seating time.

DIY Craft Party: Holiday – 5:30 to 8 p.m. – Night Shift Brewing – Head to Night Shift’s space in Everett, Mass. for a holiday crafting party hosted by EMU Studio, which will show guests how to make hand-painted glassware. The $30 tickets include the class and a beer flight.

Taste of the NFL – 6 to 9 p.m. – Davio’s Steakhouse – This event combines great food with charity as Taste of the NFL participant Steve DiFillippo hosts a benefit for the Greater Boston Food Bank with special guests and NFL players. Tickets are $100.

Heads to Tails Privateer Pig Dinner – 6 to 9 p.m. – Russell House Tavern – Chef Tom Borgia is spearheading the first whole-pig dinner at Russell House Tavern this Tuesday for a six-course feast. Each course will be paired with a Privateer Rum craft cocktail, and courses include pig skin ceviche, clam and pork belly chowder, pork shoulder maji and more. Tickets are $75.

Wednesday

Lasagna Neighborhood Night – December 10-31 – Pier 6 – Every Wednesday through the rest of December, Pier 6 in Charlestown is hosting lasagna dinners prepared by different chefs, for just $15 a person. The dinner includes a side salad.

Boston, Man Up – 5 to 9 p.m. – Scotch & Soda – Hosted by African men’s lifestyle brand Maki & Mpho, this opening party and global showcase highlights modern menswear through a trunk show with Scotch & Soda. There will be complimentary wine as well.

Boston City Limits Late Nite Barbecue – 10 p.m. – Bergamot – Escape the holiday madness and partake in a late night romp with Bergamot Late Nite. There will be a live band, Lone Star beer, and plenty of Texas barbecue. Tickets are $20.

Thursday

Grapes and Grains Release Party for Harpoon Tuscan Pool Party – 5 to 7 p.m. – MC Spiedo – The Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel and Harpoon have teamed up to release Harpoon’s Barrel #52 of their 1000 Barrel Series. The beer, named Tuscan Pool Party, will be paired with MC Spiedo’s tuscan small bites. Tickets are $30 per person.

Boston Bit Fest – 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. – Aeronaut Brewing Co. – Bit Fest is a celebration of video games past: classic arcade and console games will take over Aeronaut Brewing for a gaming session complemented by food trucks, beer and plenty of other gamers. Free to attend.

Startup Stir Holiday Pop Up – 6:30 to 8 p.m. – Workbar Cambridge – This month’s Startup Stir is focused on eating, shopping and drinking local. Join in for a holiday shop featuring New England merchants as well as locally sourced bites and drinks, and in true Startup Stir fashion, there will also be Shark Tank-style pitches to kick off the evening. Tickets are $10.
