The weekend’s rolled around again, and surprisingly enough, there are plenty of holiday-centric markets, events and parties happening for your entertainment. Happy almost Chrismahanukwanzakah!

Friday

First Annual Seaport Holiday Tree Lighting – 4 p.m. – South Boston Maritime Park – After rain on Tuesday, the Seaport Holiday Tree Lighting, the first for the neighborhood, will take place this Friday at 4 p.m. with refreshments, cookies, live music and an appearance by Santa Clause.

Boston Bike Party Presents: Ice Age – 7:30 p.m. – Copley Square – Brave the cold and join Boston Bike Party for a group ride this Friday night. There will be an optional gift drive and an after party at Yard House following the ride.

Ugly Sweater Party – 9 p.m. – Greatest Bar – Don your ugliest sweater and join in on the festivities at Greatest Bar on Friday night, because nothing says a hot night out like sweating in an itchy sweater with a teddy bear wearing a Santa hat sewn onto it. Kidding. Cover is $10.

Norm MacDonald – 7:30, 10 p.m. – The Wilbur – Legendary SNL comedian Norm MacDonald will be headlining two back to back shows tonight at The Wilbur, and tickets are still available.

Saturday

Holiday Open House – December 13 & 14 – Taza Chocolate –  Head to Taza for holiday tours, tastings and shopping local vendors. The holiday open house hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

13th Annual Holiday Extravaganza – 10:30 a.m. – Regent Theater – Bring the whole family to Regent Theater’s Holiday Extravaganza, featuring Ben Rudnick and friends.

Kendall Square’s Holiday on Ice – 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. – Community Skating at Kendall Square – Head to Kendall Square for a Holiday on Ice performance, free ice skating, and food from Commonwealth. The perfect holiday event!

Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl – 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. – Wild Rover – 12 bars, 12+ hours and lots of ugly sweaters will dominate this Saturday in Faneuil Hall. Get your tickets to join in on the fun and roam with the masses, enjoying cheap drinks. Registration is at Wild Rover.

Uniun Holiday Pop Up – December 13 & 14 – Union Square Somerville – Head to Union Square for two days of local shopping to discover handmade gifts and and crafts.

11th Annual SoWa Holiday Market – December 13 & 14 – SoWa – Shop SoWa for the holidays and get unique gifts you won’t find anywhere else, from antiques to handmade goods, crafts and more.

Aeronaut’s Festivus for the Rest of Us – 6 p.m. – Aeronaut – Beer flights, Festivus pole, Feats of strength, dance party, Festivus miracles and Roxy’s grilled cheese will take over Aeronaut this Saturday for a non-denominational celebration. No cover fee.

City Awake Finale Party: Stay Awake – 7:30 p.m. – District Hall – Close out City Awake with a party at District Hall, including an art salon, live music, interactive art and more collaboration. Free to attend.

Sunday

18th Annual Jingle Ride – 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Kickstand Cafe – This festive 22-mile bike ride is the perfect way to break a sweat in Santa gear. There will be plenty of entertainment along the way, like carol singing and refreshments. The ride will start in Arlington and go through Harvard Square, the Esplanade, Boston Common and Newbury Street.

Rockin’ Holiday Flea Market and Bloody Mary Bash – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. – TT the Bear’s Place – Vendors selling jewelry, clothing, memorabilia, music and more will gather at TT’s in Central Square for a rockin’ flea market fueled by bloody marys from the bar. Hot dogs will also be available.

Eat Your Heart Out Boston – 6 to 9:30 p.m. – The Sinclair – Eat Your Heart Out Boston was founded in 2008 by a group of music lovers and foodies who wanted to find a way to bring two together to support local music- and food-driven charities. Head to The Sinclair for food and great music to support a good cause.
