Happy weekend, everyone! If you haven’t made your restaurant reservations yet, it’s time to get crackin’. On top of several new openings, Boston restaurants are also offering deals and plenty of festive happenings. Below, we’ve rounded up just a few new options to check out this weekend.
Fiorella’s Express
According to Eater Boston, a new location of Fiorella’s Express has opened at 2401 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge. The restaurant offers Italian fare such as pizzas, calzones, pastas, and plenty of Italian chicken and fish dishes. The new outpost is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Grill 23 & Bar
Looking to get into the holiday spirit? Then look no further than Back Bay’s Grill 23 & Bar. Every year, the iconic restaurant goes all out with their Christmas decorations and this year is no different. Whether you’re looking to have a steak dinner or a drink at the bar, you can’t miss the garland-lined staircase, festive wreaths or dozens of Christmas trees throughout the restaurant.
Koy
This newly opened Korean fusion restaurant offers diners Korean dishes at an affordable price, including Carnitas Dumplings, Bulgogi Sandwiches, Kimchi Salads, and BBQ Short Rib – among others. The restaurant’s kitchen is helmed by Chef Sebastian Martinez, formerly of the North End’s Volle Nolle restaurant. The restaurant is located in the former UBurger space by Faneuil Hall.
Mei Mei Street Kitchen
This weekend, the beloved Chinese-American restaurant is serving up free Grasshopper Cake Cup desserts at both their brick-and-mortar restaurant and their food truck. According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, the free desserts are in honor of pastry chef, Jacqueline Dole’s, Zagat 30 Under 30 win. The food truck will be located at Dewey Square tomorrow. The desserts will be given away from 11:30 a.m. until they run out.
Night Market
This Asian street food restaurant is Harvard Square’s newest addition. The much-anticipated underground eatery debuted this past Tuesday, December 9, serving up all sorts of upgraded “street food” options. Take a look at their Instagram account to see photos of dishes like stewed minced pork on rice and more.
