Here’s to hoping everyone’s week is off to a smooth start. With the holidays coming up impossibly soon, Monday has a little extra kick to it (a free Dunkin’ Donuts coffee thanks to a Patriots victory doesn’t hurt things, either).

Here’s what’s happening through Thursday, as you finish up your shopping and continue to manage your stress surrounding the holidays. Breathe deep – and release.

Monday

The Art of the Cocktail: A Winter’s Toast – 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. – Boston Center for the Arts – BCA, Traveling Foodie in 4″ Stilettos and Booze Époque are joining together to host a holiday cocktail party and tutorial that will teach you how to whip up the perfect seasonal drink. Tickets are $35 and are available online until 3 p.m. today.

The Lansdowne Pub and Harpoon Brewery Seasonal Beer Dinner – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – The Lansdowne Pub – This four-course dinner uses locally sourced ingredients and then pairs the items with Harpoon beer. On the menu: Pork belly and Brussels sprouts, Maple Porter, spicy braised short ribs, Rye IPA, chocolate trio and Chocolate Stout.

Tuesday

Assembly Row Celebrates Hanukkah – 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. – Assembly Row – Head to Assembly Row for the first night of the Jewish Festival of Lights. There will be activities, arts and crafts and the lighting of the Menorah.

Lighting of the Menorah at Chestnut Hill – 5 p.m. – Chestnut Hill Square – Music, lights, refreshments and a giant Menorah ice carving and lighting will mark the beginning of Hanukkah in Chestnut Hill.

An Evening with Fashion Startups in Boston – 6 to 8 p.m. – WeWork – Get to know two local fashion startups at WeWork’s holiday event. Date My Wardrobe and Runway Technologies will be displaying their companies at the event, and guests are welcome to network, enjoy refreshments, and meet the founders.

Boston Girl Geek Dinner 17 – 6:15 p.m. – HubSpot – This Boston Girl Geek Dinner is sponsored by HubSpot and will have four different speakers from different industries. There will be food, drinks, fun and networking.

Wednesday

Hanukkah: The Festival of Lights – 6 p.m. – MFA – The MFA is celebrating Hanukkah with an evening of arts and activities. There will be music, sketching, discussions and a preview of 8 Nights, 8 Windows, a 2015 project of New Center NOW.

Get Lean in 2015 with TFW Boston – 7 p.m. – Boston Ultimate Fitness – Want to stick to your New Year’s Resolution to get fit? Head to the Get Lean 2015 seminar, hosted by Stan Dutton, who will teach guests how to stay motivated, get results, stay on track and feel good.

Thursday

Third Thursdays: Winter Solstice – 5:30 to 9 p.m. – Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum – Celebrate the season at Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’s monthly event, Third Thursday, which will be Winter Solstice themed this time around. There will be jazz music, a gold leaf project, a fireside chat, and refreshments.

WeWork Labs Holiday Party – 5:30 to 8 p.m. – WeWork – WeWork’s holiday party is open to the public – meaning you don’t have to be a member to join in on the fun. There will be drinks, holiday cheer and appetizers provided, and guests will have the chance to learn more about the WeWork model. Ugly sweaters are encouraged.

Holiday Sleigh Ride – 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. – The Handle Bar – Sweat it out before the holiday festivities really take over at The Handle Bar. The Fenway fitness studio is hosting a 6 p.m. spin class set to remixed holiday tunes, and afterwards, riders will be treated to a sampling bar of DAVIDsTEA. Riders are also encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots, and in exchange, they’ll be rewarded with $25 in Handle Bar credit.

Holiday Pop-Up Shop: A DressCode Boston Event – 6 to 11 p.m. – PhillipoPaul Studio – Boston’s best boutiques will bring together a collection of men’s and women’s clothing and accessories for guests to browse for their loved ones, or for themselves, at this DressCode Boston event. Beer and cocktails will be provided. This event is free to attend

An Evening with Bill Nye – 8 p.m. – The Wilbur – Bill Nye the Science Guy is bringing his brilliance to The Wilbur, and you can be in the room to get in on the science-fueled action.
