It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas … as in, even if it doesn’t snow, the holiday is a week away. Hopefully you’re ready for delayed flights, family fights, gift giving and plenty of egg nog. If not, these weekend events should get you in the spirit.

Friday

Women’s iLab Holiday Party – 7 to 10 p.m. – The Living Room – Join Women’s iLab Boston for a night of networking, cocktails, food and holiday cheer. Key speakers for the night will be Kim Todd, the executive director of Dress For Success, and Lauren Olmsted, the Brand Manager of Wayfair, and the night’s proceeds will be donated to Dress For Success. Pintley Limited Beer Party – 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. – The Vault – Join Pintley and Newburyport Brewing Co. and Riverwalk Brewing for a night of limited beers at The Vault. Saturday

Holiday Chocolate Bar – 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. – Cafe Fleuri at the Langham –  Wake up and smell the chocolate this Saturday. If the holidays get you grumpy, this should help: The Langham is hosting a holiday chocolate bar, which they’re dubbing a “dessert wonderland.” Santa will be there too.

Factory Girl Jewelry Trunk Show – 12 to 5 p.m. – Brookline Market – Liz Frame of Factory Girl Jewelry will be displaying her work at the Brookline Market on Saturday from 12 to 5 p.m. There will be unusual jewelry items, and more original art.

Everyone Loves Latkes Free Tasting Event – 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Brattle Plaza – Love latkes? Head to Brattle Plaza in Harvard Square and enjoy free latkes thanks to the Harvard Square Business Association.

Skate with Santa – 2 to 5 p.m. – Boston Harbor Hotel Ice Skating Rink – Hit the ice this Saturday with a special guest: Santa himself. There will also be photo opps, festive music and refreshments.

Sunday

The Somerville Holiday Flea – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Center for the Arts at the Armory – Vendors and dealers of antique furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles, fresh produce and more will come together on Sunday for last-minute gift shopping.

Happy Hollaindaise: A Celebratory Brunch – 11 a.m. – Roxy’s Grilled Cheese – Roxy’s is hosting three brunches this Sunday in the holiday spirit, with food items like Latke Benedict, pancakes with Christmas ham and breakfast poutine. The ticket gets you seats for two people.

4th Annual Boston Cookie Swap for a Cause – 1 to 4 p.m. – District Hall – Bake cookies, eat cookies and donate money to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer.

There will be latkes, dreidels, jelly donuts and drinks.

Winter Solstice Celebration – 5:3o to 8:30 p.m. – ester – Ester in Dorchester is hosting a Celebration of Light under the stars, on their patio to ring in the Winter Solstice. There will be music, food and a toast.

Yule Love It: An Immersive Cocktail Experience – 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. – backbar – Who can’t enjoy a good Christmas pun? This cocktail party is serving up a three and a half course cocktail menu, including libations from Past, Present and Future. There will also be a complimentary film screening and movie theater snacks.
