Well, its Christmas come early for Trillium Brewing fans. The Fort Point craft brewery announced today, December 22 via Twitter that they are back open. Last month, the brewery shut down unexpectedly due to licensing issues.

A hearing was held by the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission a couple weeks back. Afterwards, the owners announced on a BeerAdvocate thread that the brewery’s 2014 license renewal application was never processed – hence the temporary closure. And trust us, the loss was felt throughout Boston. From Reddit chains to the Twittersphere, fans simply couldn’t stop talking about Trillium’s closing.
