The MBTA has released schedules for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day service.

On Wednesday, Dec. 31, the T won’t collect fares after 8 p.m. across all modes. The Red, Orange, Blue, and Green (all branches) Lines, as well as all Commuter Rail lines, will run on a modified weekday schedule; all bus routes and the Silver Line will operate on regular schedules.

Modified New Year’s Eve schedules will run rush hour-level service on the Red, Orange, Blue and Green Lines starting at 3 p.m. through 2 a.m. Thursday morning. Additionally, extra and delayed outbound commuter trains will depart from North Station at the following times.

On Thursday, the T will run Sunday service on all subway lines, Green Line branches, bus routes and Commuter Rail lines.

Boat lines will make regular weekday trips on New Year’s Eve. Boat service will not be provided New Year’s Day.

Regular weekday RIDE service will be offered New Year’s Eve Day; the T will extend RIDE service hours until 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Sunday service will be available for eligible RIDE customers on New Year’s Day.
