A Boston fire engine collided with a Green Line trolley on Huntington Avenue at around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, causing delays on the E Line. No injuries were reported.
A total of eight MBTA stations were impacted, CBS Boston reports.
Boston Engin 37/Ladder 26 hit the trolley, fire department spokesperson Steve MacDonald told CBS Boston. The collision happened at 570 Hunting Ave., near the fire station, which is right in front of a set of tracks that fire engines cross multiple times a day, MacDonald said.
Actually impressed with how quickly @mbta cleared out that E-line accident. Not nearly as late for class as I anticipated.
