Wynn Resorts unveiled two new renderings of its planned Everett casino Thursday morning. The daytime (below) and nighttime renderings show what the planned $1.6 billion resort would look like from the same vantage point.

This is the first time Wynn has released images of the new design for its 24-floor Everett resort to the public.

“The era of the grand hotel–the big, wonderful places that one would stop to visit –has been over. But now, in this great part of Massachusetts, we are bringing it back in spectacular fashion,” said Steve Wynn, Chairman and CEO of Wynn Resorts, in a statement. “People will come here to have fun and experience grandeur; to eat, shop, vacation and live large and hopefully forget about the rigors of life for a while.”

The curve-shaped tower will stand atop a 33-acre site located along the banks of the Mystic River, offering views of the Boston skyline. The tower will feature Wynn’s signature “Wynn Bronze Glass” exterior.

Here’s what the tower would look like during the day.
