Boston is currently gearing up for a historic blizzard, which means that the answer to “what to do this week” might just be Netflix and hot chocolate. Still, there are events scheduled for this week, and it’s possible the show will go on. Here’s how to prepare for fun if it’s possible to leave your house.

Monday

Patriots’ Send Off Rally – 11 a.m. – City Hall Plaza – Robert Kraft, Jonathan Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick and Patriot captains Tom Brady, Dan Connolly, Vince Wilfork, Devin McCourty and Matthew Slater will greet and address fans in City Hall Plaza before leaving Boston for Arizona to prep for the Super Bowl. The Patriots cheerleaders will be there to perform and boost the rally.

2015 Burren Burns Supper – 6 to 10 p.m. – The Burren – The sixth annual Burns Supper takes place tonight at The Burren, serving up a traditional meal including haggis. Guests can pay for what they eat in advance; there’s no cover charge.

Tuesday

BU Snowbrawl 2015 – 2 to 6 p.m. – BU Esplanade – A snowstorm is due to hit Boston Tuesday, which means BU students will take to the Esplanade for a massive snowball fight, much like they did when Nemo hit in 2013. This time, however, they’ve noted that they don’t want anyone to end up in handcuffs.

Wednesday

The Chowdah Pot – 6 to 8 p.m. – American Fresh Brewhouse at Assembly Row – The restaurants at Assembly Row are battling to find out who has the best clam chowder in the neighborhood. Papagayo, Earls, River Bar, Tony C’s, Fuji and American Fresh Brewhouse will be serving chowders for guests to try, and JP Lick’s will be on hand for dessert. Tickets are $5.

Young Professionals Group Winterfest – 6 to 9 p.m. – Howl at the Moon – Support the Spaulding Young Professionals Group’s Leave Your Legacy campaign at Howl at the Moon with live entertainment, food and drinks. Tickets are $75.

Thursday

Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year: Amy Poehler – 2:45 to 5 p.m. – Harvard Square – As Hasty Pudding’s 2015 Woman of the Year, Amy Poehler will be paraded through Harvard Square before being roasted by the Hasty Pudding theatrical organization at Farkas Hall, where she will also be presented with her pudding pot. A press conference will follow.

Heverlee Beer Launch – 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. – The Merchant – The official US launch of Heverlee Beer will take place on January 29, and The Merchant is currently the only bar serving the Belgian Pilsner Lager in the country. Master Brewer Joris Brams will be in attendance for the tasting.

Go Behind the Blue with the Blue Man Group – 6 to 9 p.m. – Charles Playhouse – Hosted by BCAE, guests can get a behind-the-scenes experience of the Blue Man Group show, a staple in Boston’s Theater District. You’ll get to see sound check, the pre-show rituals, a full performance and go to a meet and greet with the performers. A $10 gift card to nearby Abby Lane is included. Tickets are $75.
