UPDATE: In a second change, the City of Boston announced that the meeting has been moved to Thursday, February 5, instead of Tuesday as previously noted. The time and place remains the same.

The Boston 2024 Olympic bid was scheduled to hold its first community meeting on Tuesday, January 27, but was forced to reschedule after the ominous warnings regarding Winter Storm Juno. The storm, which threatens to burry Boston under more than two feet of snow, compelled organizers to move the meeting, as city mayor Marty Walsh tweeted out on Monday.

The Olympic meeting will be moved to February 3rd at 6:30 p.m. for anyone interested in participating in the conversation regarding the bid. Meetings will be held all over the city in the coming month, but the first one will be held at Suffolk University Law School (120 Tremont Street).

The meetings will be a vital chance for Bostonians to share their views and ask questions about the prospective bid, and all are encouraged to go.
