That’s the “Igloo in Cambridgeport” that one Airbnb host listed Tuesday. The address posted on the website suggests it’s located on Putnam Avenue, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. And it’s up for grabs for $10 a night.

“Yes. It is very cool,” Pier, the igloo host, writes as his description of the unit. “[Winter Storm] Juno made it.”

Here are some additional details about the Igloo in Cambridgeport:

  • A minimum one night stay is required;
  • It’s capable of hosting up to two guests;
  • It has a bathroom;
  • It’s a one-bedroom igloo.

Of course, those bullet points need some clarification. Let’s allow the host to sell interested guests on an igloo stay:

Comfortably fits 1, or 2 if curled up. You can use the house bathroom and kitchen if you need. Tarp and yoga mattress provided. You’ll need to bring your sleeping bag.

If that doesn’t do the trick, maybe excellent reviews about the Airbnb igloo host will.

“Pier was a charming and great guest, considerate and pleasant to have around,” reads one Airbnber’s review. “Welcome back any time!”

Another reviewer calls the igloo host “a perfect guest,” adding: “I’d definitely have him again and recommend him to other hosts.”

Those reviews appear to be in regards to Pier as a guest, sure, but it’s hard to imagine being a host would change his apparently excellent character.
