The MBTA announced the schedule for a series of informational meetings which will focus on the future of late-night T service.

The first public meeting is slated to take place in Boston’s Seaport on Monday, March 2, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at District Hall. A Twitter Town Hall meeting (#latenightservice) is also scheduled to take place between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. earlier that day.

Four additional public meetings are scheduled for the following dates, times and locations.

Wednesday, March 4
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: state Department of Transportation building, 10 Park Plaza, conference rooms 1, 2, and 3.

Monday, March 9
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Sheraton Commander Hotel, Mount Vernon Room, 16 Garden Street, Cambridge.

Tuesday, March 10
Time: 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Location: The Inn at Longwood Medical, Longwood Medical Hall, 342 Longwood Avenue.

Wednesday, March 11
Time: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: state Department of Transportation building, 10 Park Plaza, inside the transportation library.

At the beginning of the month, the T announced late-night weekend service – a one-year pilot program launched in March 2014 – would be extended into the month of June. The extension allows MassDOT more time to gauge public interest before deciding whether or not to scrap the pilot program.
