Happy first day of spring, Boston. Unfortunately, it’s kind of the worst.

It’s cold. It may even snow. And Bostonians weren’t able to witness this morning’s Solar Eclipse – unless they were on vacation in the Faroe Islands, Svalbard Norway, northern/eastern Asia, Europe, or northern/western Africa.

A Total Solar Eclipse was only visible over the Faroe Islands and Svalbard. A Partial Solar Eclipse was visible from Europe, and parts of Asia and Africa. The celestial event started at 3:41 a.m. EDT and is set to come to an end at 8:50 a.m. EDT.

So Bostonians don’t feel left out, we’ve rounded up some of the best Solar Eclipse photos from the Twitterverse.
