Those in need of a sign that spring is officially – technically – here, well, here you go: Boston street cleaning operations are scheduled to resume Wednesday, April 1!

The city announced the start of this year’s sweeping season in a message posted on Boston.gov Monday morning. Operations are expected to resume across the entire city, including in areas where sweeping has been suspended due to snow.

Overnight parking bans remain in effect. “Please obey parking restrictions to avoid ticketing,” the city’s message reads.

Daytime street cleaning runs from April 1 through November 30 in all neighborhoods, minus the North End, the South End, and Beacon Hill.

“Fun” fact: Cambridge street sweeping is also scheduled to resume Wednesday, too!
