The 2015 Boston Marathon is underway and soon, too, will be the annual Patriot’s Day Red Sox game. As Marathon participants continue to make their way from Hopkinton to Boston, the city is continuing to swell with spectators. For those of you who forewent public transit, traffic and parking are sure to be bothersome affairs. But to help you try and navigate it, City Hall created an interactive tool.

In list form, the various parking restrictions and street closures is cumbersome and not particularly digestible. And seeing as how we’re a tech-savvy folk, the City of Boston put together an engaging map that illustrates where drivers are unable to bring their vehicles or park.

For those able to audible on the fly, you may want to try hitching a ride via public transit – you can get the gist of the scheduling here. The T will be operating on an enhanced rush-hour schedule which means that it’ll be able to accommodate the influx of spectators and visitors. If you’re lost faith in the MBTA after its winter woes, though, consider that trying to drive around the city will be an even more arduous undertaking.
