Commodore Builders has been keeping a live blog of their progress on the modular construction project for Match Community Day School’s new campus. Follow the live updates here!

While the modules are being built in the factories, the Commodore team makes regular visits to ensure that they are being built according to plan. In November, Commodore visited the Leola, Pennsylvania, plant to inspect the first modules for Building C. Shortly after, the team took a trip to the Rochester and South Whitley, Indiana, plants in December to inspect the modules for Building A and B.

In addition to the inspections done by the project team, a third party firm also inspects and approves the modules as they are being built. An inspector of the AVB (air vapor barrier) system visits the factories to ensure that material is being properly installed. Upon final inspection, the third party places a state issued seal allowing the modules to be transported to their project site in Massachusetts.
