One of the best parts of summer is the opportunity to see live music outside- whether it’s at a large venue like Fenway Park or the slightly more intimate Blue Hills Bank Pavilion. But one of the best venues to see live, local music is Fort Warren on the beautiful Georges Island. Take a ferry ride out to the island Saturdays in July and August to see some of the best Berklee has to offer in the most unique setting in Boston. The best part? The concert is free. Plan your visit around this schedule:

Saturday, July 25- 1pm: Sara Kendall/Cordelia & the Buffalo

Sara Kendall and Cordelia & the Buffalo bridge electric and acoustic sounds combined with indie pop, electro, world, and alternative music.

Saturday, August 1– 1pm: El Feeling / 3 Sudacas

Saturday, August 8- 1pm: Oh, Malô / Jive McFly

Oh, Malô pulls influence from such bands as Bombay Bicycle Club, Radiohead, Local Natives, Daughter, and Jeff Buckley to create a consistently unpredictable blend of timbres and arrangements. Jive McFly, a Boston-based band specializing in a blend of funk, rock, and pop, also performs.
