The weekend rolls around, and the quest to fill another (hopefully) unoccupied 48+ hours resumes. Look no further. From competing for a chance to be on award-winning show, “Wipeout,” to meeting other young professionals for a bar and restaurant crawl, here’s how you should make this weekend one for the books.

Friday

Park&Pedal Launch Event – 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. – Christian A. Herter Park – Attend the launch of America’s first Park&Pedal Program. Park&Pedal is a free network of parking lot hubs located cycling distance from employment centers, allowing would-be commuters to park for free and avoid “last mile” congestion. Join Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary Matthew Beaton and Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) Commissioner Carol Sanchez or win one of the five free bikes available. Also offered (for free) are bike services, bagels, donuts, coffee, food from Whole Foods, prizes from Mix 104.1, and Park&Pedal swag. Admission is free.

Boston Boathouse Country Music Cruise – 3 to 9:30 p.m. – The Spirit of Boston – 101.7 The Bull is putting a little country on the waters of Boston Harbor this Friday. Local country fans will have the opportunity to enjoy live music while taking in views of the Harbor and the city skyline. Just as important: guests will be given a chance to win a pair of Zac Brown Band tickets. Tickets are $18.95.

Boston Harbor Distillery Tours & Tastings – 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Boston Harbor Distillery – Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of the summer, Bostonians have the chance to see how spirits are made, learn about the ingredients used to make them, and taste three spirits. If you haven’t already, now is the time to take advantage of this opportunity. Admission is $10.

Milky Chance Concert – 8 p.m. – House of Blues – Coming out of Germany, Milky Chance gives listeners music that can be best described as folk, reggae or electronic. You’ll want to be in the crowd on Friday. Tickets start at $30.

Saturday

WIPEOUTRUN Boston – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Gillette Stadium – Ever watch the show “Wipeout” and think you could do better? Now is your chance. From the producers of the hit TV show “Wipeout” comes the first ever WIPEOUTRUN Boston. Get ready for this 5K including 12 obstacles like the infamous Wrecking Balls and Sweeper. Tickets range from $65 to $85.

Cultural Survival Bazaar – August 1 to August 2 – The Plaza at Harvard University – Take a trip around the world in just a few hours this weekend. Enjoy free entertainment and food, while learning about the world’s diverse cultures from artists and musicians. Shop handmade art, jewelry, clothing, crafts, decor, rugs, and more from communities throughout Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Admission is free.

The BYPA Sundress and Tie Patio Tour – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Legal Harborside – Join the Boston Young Professionals Association to celebrate the annual bar and restaurant crawl along the Seaport District. Destinations include Legal Harborside Roof Desk, Salvatore’s, Jerry Remy’s, Whiskey Priest, Atlantic Beer Garden, and more. In addition to food specials at select locations, attendees will have access to private areas and line privileges. All young professionals ages 21 to 45 are invited. Dress code is dresses or skirts for women and ties with collared shirts for men. Tickets are $15 for BYPA members, $20 general admission, and $30 day of.

Sampler Saturday: Italian Vino Vacanza – 2 to 5 p.m. – The Urban Grape South End – Urban Grape wants to bring vacation to you with four sparkling wines from different regions of Italy. Admission is free.

Face Off at ImprovBoston – 10 to 11 p.m. – ImprovBoston – Be the judge of New England’s best comedians as they battle for your laughter and applause in a comedic duel. While two teams enter, just one can take home the coveted “Cheapest Trophy in the World.” Admission is $18.

Sunday

National Sisters Day Yoga – 10 a.m., 4 p.m., 5:45 p.m. – Health Yoga Life – Bring your sister to a class this Sunday for National Sisters Day and get a two-for-the-price-of-one deal. Classes include Power n’ Flow, Groove n’ Flow, and Restore n’ Restart.

4th Annual Boston Seafood Festival – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Boston Fish Pier – This festival will include vendors like Yankee Lobster serving up fresh from the water plates, an all day lobster bake, celebrity chef demonstrations on cooking seafood, and panels with the focus of local and global elements affecting New England’s fishing industry. Also notable: the Massport fire boat water cannon display and the Battle of the Shuckers, in which the best oyster shuckers in the industry compete. Tickets are $15.

Short Path Distillery Tours & Tastings – 12 to 5 p.m. – Short Path Distillery – With over 4,000 square feet of production area, tasting room, function hall, and bar, Short Path Distillery offers free tours, tastings, and cocktails each Friday through Sunday. Admission is free.
