The GZA’s in Somerville, the Super Bowl lives and there’s a fun-run for you to jaunt through Back Bay in your skivvies. We’d say it’s shaping up to be an alright week.

Wizard Fest Boston

Feb. 16 – As escaping to an alternate realm becomes increasingly desirable yet remains wholly untenable, consider a nostalgic evening of Harry Potter cosplay at Whiskey Saigon.

Cupping

Feb. 17 – It’s not the kind of cupping that left Michael Phelps with those eery-looking bodily crop circles last Olympics. This kind of cupping involves slurping up the perfect cup. Learn how not to make a bitter cup of coffee at this Counter Culture tasting event Friday morning.

Cupid’s Undie Run

Feb. 18 – Exhibitionists rejoice: this may be the only time you’re permitted, nay, encouraged, to run down the street in your tighty whities. If you can stomach the cold at Cupid’s Undie Run – billed as a 4-hour party with a “mile(ish) fun run in the middle” – your cloth-less jog will help raise money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

Anti-Valentine’s Day Pub Crawl

Feb. 18 – If “roses are red, violets are blue, beer is cheaper than a dinner for two,” is especially resonant to you this week, check out this “Anti-Valentine’s Day” pub crawl. You made it through another Hallmark Holiday, why not crack a few beers in the company of like-minded cynics.

#BradyBrunch

Feb. 19 – Our vocal chords are still recovering from the Pats’ unprecedented 25-point Super Bowl comeback. Relive the nail-biter of a game with fellow football fans at a Pats-themed boozy brunch at the Vanderbilt.

Boston Comedy Chicks & WICF at Slumbrew

Feb. 19 – Boston Comedy Chicks, the all-gender community of comedians that highlights women-led acts, is taking over the Slumbrew stage for the first time. See them slay Sunday.

ICA is free on Presidents Day

Feb. 20 – Presidents Day, a head-scratcher of a holiday coveted mostly for its ability to create a long weekend in February, also means free admission to the Institute of Contemporary Art. As our current president reportedly mulls axing most, if not all federal funding for the arts, consider spending the day in creative solidarity.

Wu-Tang’s GZA in Somerville

Feb. 22 – To glimpse what’s likely the largest concentration of black and yellow Wu-Tang Clan shirts ever to descend on Somerville, head to ONCE, where rapper, lecturer and documentarian GZA performs Wednesday.

Weeding Out the Stoned

Feb. 23 – At this comedy game show that’s almost like real life now that pot’s legal in Mass., 16 comedians take the stage, and all but one of them is super duper stoned. It’s up to the audience to determine who’s above the influence.
