Since the bombings that hit Boston with unprecedented tragedy, people have come together in overwhelming support of the victims, their families, and the wounded city itself. Donations have poured in through The One Fund since it was created a little over a week ago, reaching $20 million on Tuesday, and the generosity shows no signs of stopping as every community works together to raise money and spirits in the aftermath of the attack.

The local music community, for one, has made strides under pressure to put together benefit shows within the first days following the marathon. On the Tuesday after the bombings, April 16, TT the Bear’s Place held a benefit show featuring local bands Mean Creek, The Field Effect, Earthquake Party, and more that sent proceeds to Mass General Hospital. This show would become the first of many concerts that either came to fruition in light of the events, or altered their purpose for a good cause. As different concerts like the one at TT’s pulled together, and local music blog Allston Pudding released a benefit mixtape to raise money, a united goal took over Boston’s music scene.

If you haven’t made it to a benefit concert yet, it’s not too late. (It’s also not too late to download the Allston Pudding mixtape.) Here’s a list of upcoming concerts, in which proceeds will be donated to the marathon cause.

Make It New for One Fund
April 25, 9 p.m. at Middlesex Lounge

This event is Together Festival’s official fundraiser for The One Fund. DJ Swelta, a DJ from Texas, will be spinning in the DJ booth along with Coralcola and Alan Manzi. The DJs have agreed to waive their booking fee to donate to the charity, and all proceeds made at the door will be sent to helping the victims and their families. The door cover/donation is $10, but guests are encouraged to donate more, if they feel so inclined.

Sammy Adams & DJ JayCeeOh Official After Party
April 25, 9 p.m. at The Place

6one7 Productions is bringing Boston’s Sammy Adams out for the night after his Thursday show at the Paradise. He will be guest hosting and performing until 2 a.m, along with music provided by DJ JayCeeOh. One hundred percent of the money made at this after party will be matched by The Place management and donated to The One Fund. Tickets are $15 and available for purchase here on Eventbrite. Even if you can’t make the after party, you can still donate money on the Eventbrite page, and The Place will match those donations as well.

A Benefit featuring Dropkick Murphys and State Radio
April 28, 1 p.m. at House of Blues

Boston staple Dropkick Murphys will return to their hometown to raise money for victims alongside State Radio, Big D and the Kids Table, Parkington Sister, Old Brigade, and more. The band has already raised $200,000 for their city by selling “For Boston” T-shirts on their web store. The shirts and Sunday’s concert are two components of their three-part plan to raise money for victims. Next week, they’ll announce a digital release, which will be put toward their fundraising efforts for The One Fund. Tickets to Sunday’s afternoon show are $25 for general admission, $45 for reserved seating.

Eye Design Presents: Treat Yo Self Benefit Show
April 30, 8 p.m. at Great Scott

Eye Design has taken their monthly Treat Yo Self Creative Industry night at Great Scott and turned it into a marathon benefit effort. All proceeds will go to The One Fund. The night is jam-packed with creative minds coming together for a good cause: a raffle will give away local business gift cards and artist merchandise; the night’s musical lineup is stacked with local bands Creaturos, Horse Hands, Kid Mountain, Abadabad, and more, who will take the stage over the course of the evening; live art and galleries will be provided by Kira Leigh, Megan Franasiak, and Mona Maruyama. To top it all off, free food will be provided, as well as handmade doughnuts and treats from Laura Cecilia. Plus, the door charge is on a pay-what-you-can basis. Basically, there is no reason to not head out to Allston for this event.

This is Boston: A Benefit for the Victims of the Boston Marathon Attacks
May 6, 5 p.m. at South Shore Music Hall

Presented by Lykaion Cult Productions and Ammonia Booking, a night of metal and alternative music will take over the South Shore Music Hall, which opened this past January in Quincy. The lineup includes Converge, Slapshot, Dropdead, Wrecking Crew, and more, and raffles will help raise money for The One Fund. Tickets are $20.

While these concerts are mostly locally based, that’s not to say that the tragedy hasn’t resonated on a national music front. Check out this video of Kendrick Lamar and Steve Aoki taking a moment from the Verge Tour to voice their support for Boston, via KarmaloopTV.
