Last night comedian Tracy Morgan hosted the entertaining and equally controversial 2013 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The big winners and highlight-makers of the night were Taylor Swift, who took home 8 awards out of 11 and Rihanna who won 4 out of 10. But the real winner is everyone with a YouTube account as today we can all watch and snicker at Justin Bieber’s awkward acceptance speech for the first ever ‘Milestone Award’, and Miguel jump-sit on a poor woman’s face; just some of the evening’s intriguing afterthoughts.

Taylor Swift was winner and performer last night, taking the stage to belt out her popular song ’22’ after winning awards including Top Artist, Female Artist of the Year, and Country Album of the Year for ‘Red’. Rihanna took home R&B Artist of the Year as well as R&B Song of the Year for ‘Diamonds’. Swift was surely smitten with the audience’s voting, calling the crowd “longest and best relationship I ever had,” but not so much as the Biebs is with his main squeeze Selena Gomez, as evidence by this GIF showing T-Swift maturely sticking out her tongue at the couple.

Justin Bieber won the first-ever ‘Milestone Award’ supposedly for fantastic achievements on the billboard charts this year. His acceptance speech was an another achievement entirely, one of awkwardness that must’ve rubbed his screaming fans the wrong way. In it, he basically wants everyone to know that music is his craft, that he’s not a gimmick, and that his fans should throw him some more respect. Gimmick or not, you better decide for yourself.

Also making the highlight real is the single-named singer Miguel, who thought it would be a good idea to jump from one side of the stage to the other… with a sea of audience members in between. I don’t think I have to tell you how Miguel’s big leap turned out, but check out the GIF below. To put it delicately, some poor woman got a face full of Miguel’s ass. The best part is he just keeps on singing as if that fan didn’t possibly break her nose.

Other big award winners were Nicki Minaj as Top Rap Artist of the Year, One Direction for Top New Artist, Maroon 5 for Hot 100 Artist of the Year, Madonna for Top Touring Artist, and fun. for Rock Artist of the Year as well as Rock Album of the Year with ‘Some Nights.’
