Tomorrow, look out for an infamous Boston landmark that will be changing its shade and message to honor the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing.

This Saturday, the LNG Tank located in Dorchester near I-93 will light up blue and yellow starting at 8 p.m., with the Boston Strong image projected across its surface. National Grid, which owns the landmark, stated that it planned the memorial to coincide with the 109th Dorchester Day Celebration, which will commemorate Dorchester’s establishment. National Grid also announced that it has donated over $70,000 to the One Fund since the bombings on April 15th.

Martin Richard, the youngest of the victims, was a Dorchester native. His family plans to hold a Mass on June 9 – the day that would have marked his ninth birthday.
