Hands down – one of the best things about the spring season is the reemergence of food trucks. Whether it’s a sunny, outdoor lunch break or a weekend food truck festival, Boston’s mobile eats makes the season that much better. And now, it looks like we have one more food truck event to look forward to this May.

On May 11, Food Truck Festivals of New England will be teaming up with Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain to host the 106th Annual Lilac Sunday celebration – complete with 11 of Boston’s best food trucks.

The event is free and for one day only, guests are invited to picnic in the Arboretum this Mother’s day. The festival runs from 10a.m. to 3p.m. and the food trucks will being vending at 11a.m.

The food trucks will include:

  • Batch Ice Cream
  • The Dining Car
  • Bon Me
  • Frozen Hoagies
  • Boston’s Baddest Burger
  • The Happy Taco
  • Cameo Macaron
  • M&M BBQ Ribs
  • Captain Marden’s Cod Squad
  • Mei Mei Street Kitchen
  • Clover Food Truck
